My Experience
Tutor and classroom teacher
With over 12 years as a fully qualified (PGCE) Maths and Physics teacher in schools across London and Manchester, I bring both subject expertise and extensive, up-to-date teaching and learning insight. I hold a full DBS certificate.
Highly experienced
Unlike other tutors, I have the classroom experience necessary to fully understand curriculum structures, guide through assessments and examinations, and adapt to the diverse and individual needs of every learner.
Highly trusted and successful
In the 2024-25 academic year I delivered over 800 hours of personalised tuition, supporting students - including several long-term, for three years or more - to achieve excellent results and build lasting confidence. Most are aged 11-18, although I have also tutored upper primary pupils and adult learners.

I have in-depth knowledge of the topics, examination content and questions for the current KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, FMSQ/Additional Maths and A-Level curriculum across all major exam boards (Edexcel, AQA, OCR A/B, CIE and WJEC).
Expert pedagogical understanding
I have an in-depth understanding of how Maths can be grasped and mastered, which I combine with a broad range of teaching strategies, offering multiple explanations and techniques to find every learner an approach that works for them.
My Approach
I work with students who find learning Maths challenging, who seek to consolidate or extend their learning, or who wish to boost their confidence.
Calm, patient and encouraging, I provide clear, knowledgeable explanations supported by carefully selected teaching and learning materials.
I use interactive tools such as shared digital whiteboards and graphing technology to bring mathematical concepts and understanding to life.
My lessons are structured yet flexible and fully tailored to the pace, needs, curriculum and goals of every learner, providing the right balance of challenge and support.
Above all, I take pride in helping students learn, understand and solve problems in the subjects I love!
